July 2010 - Lack of updates, wow. Biggest news:
- We are currently in preprooduction on the sci-fi noir feature film A City to Make Me, in association with Truth Sculpture Studios. Written and directed by Ryan Miller.

September 2008 - Matt and Bibby participated in the 2008 Chicago Film Race as director of photography and sound recordist, respectively, on the film Perfect Date, directed by Francisco Castle. The top 10 films from this competition will be streamed on their website some time this month. If ours is among them (and it should be), please vote for it.
August 2008 - Matthew has DP'd a series of 10-second short films with Balanced Productions for a company called Mogreet to be used as mobile phone messages. You can view them online for free and send one to a phone for only $0.99. Just search "Niles Maxwell" to see all our videos.

March 2007 - Do you want to see some run and gun Reality TV lighting? Check out Matt's handiwork in action on "The Thintuition Competition," which is shooting now and begins airing on Sunday, June 3rd, at 7:00pm on WWME-TV Chicago, channel 23 or Comcast channel 223. Past episodes will be posted online after they air.
23 May 2006 - vynl Overdrive's music video debut, "Hey Bitch (You Ain't Got Nothin' On Me)" is now complete.
27 January 2005 - While we're saddened to see Sean Riley make the big move to New York, we wish nothing but the best for him on his new career opportunities. Despite the distance, Sean remains a part of Hyphenated-Pictures, and will continue to be a valued collaborator in the future.
January 2005 - "Wish You'd Stay," a music video for Adam and the Go Comets that was shot by Matt and Gaffed by Sean is now online at the band's website.
November 2004 - Mike and Matt both worked on the crew of the feature film Brushfires, produced by Split Pillow. It appeared in several international film festivals.
October 2004 - Hyphenated-Pictures has shot a 30 second commercial for Las Palmas restaurant in Wicker Park that appears on the October release of "Cherry Bomb." See it here.

September 2004 - In response to a contest proposed by "Cherry Bomb," a DVD of Chicago-area short films, we produced three 30 second commercials for Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. While the Pabst Brewing Company officially backed out of sponsorship before the entries could be judged, our spots were screened at Inn Joy to a very positive audience reaction.
